Good Days, Hit Different

During the pandemic, I was listening to quite a bit of SZA. Her music has a great way of pulling on your heart strings. She shared the music video for "Hit Diferent" and later on in the video, she transitioned to her song "Good Days". This pen piece was inspired by a shot in the music video. This was the first time I experimented with making art with using just ballpoint pen, and I really enjoyed the process. I had to think of the shading similar to when I use a pencil, and overall this is one of my proudest pieces.
