I made this as a dedication to my late father and the love he had for my academic endeavors. He always encouraged me to do well in my academics by explaining the value of viewing knowledge as a practice. He consistently encouraged my siblings and I to do our academic workbooks year round to stay sharp. My kindergarten teacher, Ms. Barnes, nominated me for the district wide Academic Achievement Award. My older brothers and father were in attendance to support me while I received the award. I am grateful for my teacher for recognizing me, and it has since been great source of motivation for all my other academic pursuits.
