I never got to finish this piece as I ended up losing it the summer I moved from my Rather Hall dorm back to North Wonders. It was inspired by Beyoncé's "Formation" music video. I really enjoyed how much she was being unapologetically Black during this era, and I made this piece over the summer when I was a Resident Assistant. I think it's an example of how sometimes as an artist life may get in the way, or you may be going through transitions that cause you to not finish a piece. That is why I am glad I always captured my process of an original piece. People sleep on photos, but they help alot when you are trying to look back on your life moments.
